Batman Beyond!!

I finally attained a free day of no school, work, or any of those adult responsibilities and so I decided to spend it re-watching the first season of Batman Beyond! I picked it up at the local Wal-Mart for about 15 bucks and decided to take a day and watch a good bit of the episodes. I really miss this show and to be honest I don't understand why it was cancelled after only three seasons because it did really well while it was on the air. I checked out a few ratings on the internet and I couldn't find anything below an eight out of ten. One major attribute that I liked about this show was how the writers would take older villains from when Bruce Wayne was Batman and contribute their powers and characteristics and embed them in newer, futuristic villains. 

In a couple of the episodes the writers would throw in a classic villain such as Bane or Mr. Freeze and show how much older they look or how depressed they are because of the negative effects of what they caused to happen to themselves. I rarely ever found anything that I didn't like about this show and if I did it was just a little dislike about a character or a certain setting. Batman Beyond made an impact on the Batman Universe with the t.v. show, and the different comic book series, and now that Batman: Arkham City is making the Batman Beyond costume an available download skin for playability in the story! One of my favorite Batman animated movies is Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker; this is a story about how much impact the Joker can make when Bruce is the retired Batman and Terry is the current while not knowing what the true Joker can do. This movie takes a twist and they did a really good job. I recommend you guys check the t.v. show and the film out, I promise it'll be worth your time! Thanks!
